For some reason I really got into the spirit of Halloween early this year and have had my decorations up since the middle of September. Just want to share (and in some cases re-share) some of my favorite traditions of the seasons.
My dear friend, Kristy Banks, made this adorable mantle scarf! I also love my friendly witch and the willows (from Pier 1)! I’ve had the silver letters forever and just switch them out according to the name of the season. Oh–and the cool clock was purchased from an antique clock shop in England several years ago (we were there on vacation). Funny story–we had it shipped all the way to Utah only to discover it was made in UTAH! The beehive on the front (Utah is the Beehive state) should have been my first clue!
I sooo love pumpkins and it was fun to introduce my granddaughter to them last weekend.
Next is my FAVORITE fall treat! Yummy!
And these are some of the most creative home dec items I’ve ever seen thanks to my pal, Michael Lazorchak:
Just had to show you how my little devil left for school this morning (with 5″ heals!):
And a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dear mom. Clarine Downs is the spunkiest, most energetic gal I know! This picture was taken on the day of my dad’s funeral and represents a faithful woman who is enduring cheerfully to the end! So blessed to have her in my life!
Have a spooktacular weekend!
