Spring is in the air, and so is the inspiration to create some pretty new decor! I made this cute paper wreath this morning, and it came together so easily, I thought I’d share the “how-to” with you.
You will need an Anthology DIY Flowers & Frames Embellishment Kit, a sturdy paper plate (about 7-inch diameter), scissors or a craft knife, coordinating ribbon of your choice (about 8-inch length), adhesive(s) of your choice.
From your Flowers & Frames Kit, you will need the package of buttons and the package of die-cut cardstock flowers and foliage. There WILL be leftovers!
Use your craft knife or scissors to cut out the center of the paper plate. Glue flowers onto the rim of the plate using your favorite adhesive(s). Hint: Overlap and add a touch of depth to the wreath by using dimensional foam adhesive squares to glue down some of the flowers.
Just keep adding more flowers, leaves, and sprigs to the wreath. Fill up the empty spots and add pieces until you’re happy with the way it looks.
Add a fun, finishing touch by gluing down buttons onto some of the flower centers. Hint: I really like using liquid craft glue for this.
Secure your piece of ribbon to the back of the plate/wreath with staples, hot glue, tape, or another method of your choice. Enjoy and share!
