The temperature has honestly changed here in Utah overnight. It seems we went from very hot days and nights to having a nip in the air during the night and mornings. The leaves are changing in the nearby mountains and everything fall is in full swing.
However, my daughter-in-law, Taylor, would still remind you (she posted this on her Instagram):
“September 22nd is the first day of Fall. Not today. Not tomorrow. Put down the pumpkin and stop being a life ruiner. P.S. Pumpkin spice causes constipation.”
She loves summer but she also loves fall–just not too soon.
As a child I never liked fall (gasp–I know). It hated the early dark nights and going back to school (and sending my kids to school). I’ve changed my mind over the past few years and now I love this season.
I few years ago, I challenged myself to take a photo a day in the month of October and then created a book to celebrate this magical month. This could easily be done in Heritage Makers, a wonderful company that makes creating books digitally easy and fun.
Here is a sampling of the book I made:
Notice how I included a recipe, lots of journaling, and pictures of people and meaningly objects.
Here’s hoping that you’re having a wonderful September and enjoying all the beauties this season brings.
