In all of my travels lately, I have been thinking a lot about the innovation that has gone into travel and shipping. We don’t always think about all the effort or inventive thinking that goes into our everyday opportunities!
For this week’s small and simple things, I wanted to focus on these types of innovations that we often interact with but rarely stop to really thing about. Here are a few things I’ve appreciated in the past few weeks:
This past week I was in Dallas and I couldn’t quit staring at this bridge from my hotel room window. I love the flow and beauty of the double arch and the functionality for vehicles. Have you ever really thought about what it takes to build a bridge? It boggles my mind!
This trailer is parked in my own neighborhood. I am touched by this massive project our local congregation has taken on. How cool that a container can be dropped off and then picked up by a massive truck a few days later!
I don’t love riding ferris wheels but love looking at them from the ground up. They are so intricate… A true site to behold!
Nothing makes me happier than a good old-fashioned train. This was taken on a recent trip to Banff, Canada with my hubby. This picture has it all–blue water, green trees, majestic mountains and a perfect cargo train!
